Fundraising Events

The student club organises a number of fundraising events including World’s Greatest Shave, Op Shop Ball, Operation Christmas Child as well as supporting individual students’ efforts such as the MS Mega Swim, the Refugee Ration Challenge and more.

Upcycled Mugs

‘Up-cycled Mugs’ sourced from local charity shops are a staple in the dining hall. This intiative has cut down the purchase of new mugs at regular intervals throughout the year.
Doyle Bros Waste Management

Doyle Bros makes recycling more efficient and accessible by collecting all waste in the one bin. Waste is sorted and after recyclable items have been removed what remains is turned into Processed Engineered Fuel, a fuel substitute for coal and gas. This process reduces landfill to an incredibly small amount of 3% of original volume going to landfill.
Blackroo Vending Machines

Blackroo Corporation, a social enterprise, provide the College with snacks and refreshments year round with beautiful vending machines. This revenue stream allows them to engage in meaningful ways to Close the Gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Formal Dinner Events

Dunmore Lang College holds formal dinner events throughout the year which are an opportunity for the whole community to gather together.
Prefer to be alcohol-free on campus?

Various cultures may have very different attitudes, beliefs, norms and expectations about drinking. This is why Dunmore Lang College runs non-alcohol based events each week.
Association of Dunmore Lang Students (ADS)

At Dunmore Lang College, we have an amazing group of student volunteers who run the Association of Dunmore Lang Students (ADS). 25 young leaders design and run a variety of social events, fundraising activities, and sporting opportunities available throughout the year.
